For many, school has started and hopefully you've already scheduled classes for the first quarter and/or semester. For even more, school will start soon enough for all of you.
Around this time of year, I always found it worthy to update our CPTED Assessments due to summer construction projects throughout our District, or to upgrade or amend the Site Safety Plan, making sure the new plan is in the hands of each school administrator or Site Safety Team...and is taught to each student, teacher, staff member and most importantly, substitute teachers.
I again implore each of you to consider taking a powerpoint presentation course, to effectively teach all learning modalities (Learning styles and learning modalities are often spoken of interchangeably. Modalities refer to how students use their senses in the learning process. We commonly consider four modalities: visual (seeing), auditory (hearing), kinesthetic (moving), and tactile (touching).
Regardless, here's to an adventure filled year of highly interactive moments with both staff and students.
